Frapella

Food establishments in Iligan City has been growing in numbers. From cafes to snack house, restaurants to fast food chains, and even sidewalk foods.

Social media can play such a big role in promoting new establishments. And "Frappella" is one of those establishment that captured my attention while randomly scrolling down my news feed.

It was something new in a way that it was the first establishment in Iligan City to feature a double-deck type of table or whatever it is called. It was so unique (well, as of the moment) that I invited my boyfriend to dine there.

It is just a 3 to 5-minute ride from the city proper. And if you are coming from the city proper you just get off at Mister Donuts (left side of the street) and Petron gasoline station (right side of the street). Now, it is located at the corner on the left side of Petron gasoline station where several food establishments line up at both sides of the street.

At first, we could't find Frappella. There where no other establishments after Pizzarella or at the establishment (I forgot what it was) at the opposite side of the street. We decided to walk further and Viola~! We found Frappella and it is just beside Orange Claw. Pinch is also a few steps away from Frapella. It was a 230 - 250 steps away from the national highway (depends on how big or small your steps are).

I really love how the building was built, designed, colored, everything! The exterior design fits my taste and I was really amazed. It is a two story building and there are two tables outside which can accommodate at most 8 people. And a medium-sized standee black board to completed the whole package.

The interior design was charming. There was a mural of silhouette of birds on a wire on one of the walls. Downstairs can accommodate around 8 - 10 people.

It is upstairs what really brings out the uniqueness of the establishment because it is where their double deck-type table is. It's a little bit cramped but it was still fine and dandy. The lower part of the deck has 4 separate spaces with similar sizes which can accommodate 4-5 people each. While the upper deck has 5 separate spaces with different areas that can accommodate from 2-4 people.

Their food was amazing. Well, the food we ordered was. We didn't know about the other food but I bet it is also good. We ordered tocino with sunny side up eggs, beef tapa with a sunny side up eggs also, and 4 mini burgers with fries. I tell you that it is delicious, it doesn't have any unique taste or anything but it is really good that it will definitely satisfy your cravings.

Aside from the taste of their food, they are also not that pricey. It is a student-budget-friendly and their prices are worth the savoriness of the food.

Unfortunately, the establishment is really not fit for students who want to have a quiet time and study. But it is apt for those people who want to catch up and chill with friends, or even satisfy their cravings.
